BR 043 DB Heavy Freight Locomotive with tender locomotive

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) Class 043. Formerly Class 44 with Oil Firing and Oil Tender.

Model: Comes with Digital Decoder, controlled high-efficiencypropulsion; telex coupler on the tender and smoke generator. Ready for installation of 7226 Smoke Unit.

Articulated frame enables unit to negotiate sharp curves. 5 axles powered. Headlights and contact for smoke generator are will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally.

Telex coupler, locomotive whistle, as well as acceleration and braking can be controlled digitally with the 6021 control unit.
